Enter the world of a psychotic patient's lived experience suffering from temptation or possession by the Devil, demons, or evil spirits. Through interactive, fictitious case studies typical of the presenter's clinical experience, we'll look at different ways demonic intrusion or possession manifests in psychotic patients; we'll consider the theology of demonic possession and how it interacts with psychiatric science; and we'll investigate new ways to use spiritual assessment to help patients who come to the chaplain complaining that they are bothered by the Devil, demons, or evil spirits.
